Visitors have to like your site
Visitors have problems with Web sites because
- Your opening page does not immediately define your product or
service
- Too many options for visitors to choose from
- ordering process is too complicated
- Not enough ordering choices
- Not easy to find your contact information
- Not enough information on your products
- The wrong kind of information on your products
- Not enough information on your services
- The wrong kind of information on your services
- Not at all clear who your company is
- Not at all clear what your company does
- Some or all of the above
What Emarketing-Canada can do to help you.
- Our job is very straight forward. Where possible, we will work
with what is already there to reconstruct a web site that works for
you i.e. creating paying customers. As far as we are concerned, that
is the sole purpose of any business web site. Studies have consistently
shown that the sites that yield the best results are those sites
which are "simple" in design and content and allow the
visitor to get right to your product information or allow the visitor
to easily request more follow up information. Fancy graphics, pop
up features, audio and video clips look and sound great, but they
may actually discourage sales by adding too many layers between your
product and the potential client. Done properly however, such features
can enhance your corporate image. .
- In most cases, Emarketing-Canada will want to examine your server's
log files to see what visitors are doing on your site. We will study
where your visitors have come from, which pages they first arrived
at, where they went once on your site, which pages are the most popular
and which are the least? In fact, depending upon the type of log
files your server keeps, we will determine over 70 parameters of
visitor traffic. Such an analysis goes a long way towards helping
us decide what needs to be done to maximize sales. See Diagnostics.
- One of the main reasons our clients tend to do very well with search
engine placement is that we have invested much time, energy and money
learning as much as we can about how each major search engine ranks
sites and what design and marketing elements work best for specific
engines. With us, there is no separation between a successful design
and a successful marketing plan. The two are interrelated. With that
in mind, consider the following- .
- To market your web site we will make specific recommendations depending
upon the products or services your web site will promote. The first
part of your marketing mix involves the way your site is designed.
Your site must be designed to please the search engines as well as
to please you.. That is, your keywords, text, graphics and Meta tags
must be carefully crafted to encourage the search engine software
to give your site as high a ranking as possible. Then, once your
site is registered, we will study the results as your new site begins
to appear in the search engine indexes. Where necessary, we will
fine tune and reregister your site until we produce the visitor traffic
and sales your site should realistically be expected to produce.
Additionally, we may well recommend other marketing strategies that
should also yield increased sales depending upon your products or
services. See Marketing.
- Clients who have followed our recommendations and advice have been
able to easily recoup the costs of their site, this usually within
the first six months. In fact, some of our clients have been able
to earn back the cost of their site before we even finished construction.
This has happened because certain search engines indexed their site
as it was being built and ranked it very high or number one on their
indices for the key word searches the clients were looking for. This
was not by chance! It happened because we had planned it that way
from the very beginning of the construction and design process. In
other words, our design is part of your marketing mix. In many cases
a critical part.
We can show you what we have done for other clients
but it's not nearly as exciting as showing you what we can do for you!
